Stephen talks about the state of the US economy and shares many metrics that mainstream media overlooks about how well the economy is doing under Trump. Specifically how we are experiencing historic lows in unemployment, interest rates, and inflation as well as historic gains in wages. Stephen discusses his first negative first impressions of Trump and how he thought he was a blowhard and his run for president was just a publicity stunt. He also shares how he changed his mind and Trump won him over and how serious Trump is in his pledge to “drain the swamp”. Stephen also talks about his experience being nominated to be on the Federal Reserve Board of Governors and why he withdrew his nomination.
