With the Priests of the Basilica
Ash Wednesday
February 26, 2020

As we begin our Lenten journey and prayerfully enter this penitential season, please join the Priests of the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, as they present weekly reflections throughout this season of Lent.

Rev. Msgr. Walter R. Rossi, Rector of the Basilica, presents a reflection on Ash Wednesday and the start of the 2020 Lenten season.

Join us for our next installment on the First Sunday of Lent.

The Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington D.C., is a Catholic church dedicated to the Blessed Mother, patroness of our nation. It is a place of worship, pilgrimage, evangelization, and reconciliation. Mary’s Shrine invites people from across the country and beyond to share in Christ’s ever-living presence.
